Wolves to Face Suns in Game 2 of First Round of 2024 NBA Playoffs

The Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Phoenix Suns in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Tuesday night.
The Timberwolves lost the first game of the series at home on Sunday, 97-90. The Suns led by as many as 17 points in the first half and never trailed in the game.
The Suns lost in dramatic fashion in Game 7 of the 2023 Western Conference Finals to the Timberwolves. Before being defeated last night the Suns won 7 of their last 8 games coming into the game last night.
The Timberwolves will need to play much better in Game 2 if they want to tie the series and salvage home-court advantage. They will need to get more production from their star player, Karl-Anthony Towns, who was held to just 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting in Game 1.
The Suns will be looking to take a 2-0 series lead and put the Timberwolves on the brink of elimination. They will be led by Devin Booker, who scored 28 points in Game 1.
Game 2 is scheduled to tip off at 9:00 PM ET on Tuesday night. The game will be televised on TNT.
